I am down to ~ 10 “combustibles”/day – this for someone who, a week ago, was a 1.5-2 pack-per-day ‘smoker’ – as a “Vaper”, I’m spending more time in more places {not having to leave for a ‘smoke break’}, our daughter is VERY pleased that SHE’S no longer being subjected to secondhand smoke – I’m going to the doctor tomorrow, for other issues, but I’m thinking HE’S going to be VERY pleased that I’m no longer loading my system with ‘tar’ and the 3,000+ OTHER chemicals from ‘combustibles’ – I AM experiencing some headaches, which I attribute to the “de-toxing” – maybe he can prescribe something ……………………………. I LIKE the menthol liquid from Modern Vapor; it has a citrus-y bit of flavor, that isn’t overpowering, but a nice change …………………….. and vaping is MUCH easier on the throat ……………………………. 😉

This whole evolution has been an exercise in frustration for me – I first ordered on 24 September, from 2 different companies – my husband’s came in within 5 days – NINE PLUS WEEKS LATER, and dealing with TWO different companies, I finally have mine – I went with Modern Vapor {who were VERY responsive – only problem was, the time of the year, what should have taken 2-3 days took 6}, the “Pink” SideSho, with their menthol liquid – which has a bit of a citrus-y taste, but overall very pleasant.  I also ordered some liquid for my husband’s ………………………………… I still have some “combustible” cigarettes that I’m interspersing with puffs off my eCig – NOW, with some eCigs, what corresponds to the filter on combustibles pulls off the atomizer unit so one can add more liquid – being a blonde, I didn’t want to take “things” apart unless I was sure they were SUPPOSED to come apart – had to call Modern Vapor & get talked through removing the protective cover

AND, I’m celebrating my 53rd birthday today by changing from “smoking” {combustion process} to “vaping” {atomized water, nicotine, flavor}.

that “smoking” is BAD for you – however, I’m guilty of enjoying “smoking”; the relaxation and calmative effect of nicotine can’t be denied.

Nicotine has it’s issues; but “smoking” {applying fire/heat to a cigar/cigarette/pipe} starts a combustion process that releases, in addition to nicotine and ‘tar’, something on the order of 3,000 chemicals, many of which are cancer-causing; poisonous; radioactive – WHO NEEDS all that stuff in their body? Additionally, “smoking” taints one’s environment – hair, skin, clothes, furniture, draperies, carpeting – and causes health issues for those one lives/works with. It lowers the value of one’s vehicle on trade-in. And, let’s face it, non-smokers {whether they never smoked, or quit smoking} can be true irritants when complaining about smokers {to the point that ‘lighting up’ is necessary to calm down}.

We live in a remarkable time – because WE have the opportunity to ingest nicotine, in a {to smokers} VERY satisfying manner, that allows use in areas that are currently off-limits. And THAT is the purpose of this website.
